Rücker EKS GmbH in Weingarten is our group subsidiary specialising in production engineering. The main emphasis here is on body shell manufacture (die process and tooling) and bodywork production (body shell plant). Our specialists offer services covering everything from the initial process planning and design (feasibility, pickup and tensioning concepts) on. They design tools, stations and entire assembly cells for bodywork manufacture and simulate and optimise assembly using virtual tools. Our specialists' services include virtual commissioning of entire assembly lines (using the Invision application, an in-house development). This discerns potential problems and permits optimisation of processes and plant long before any actual plant is used. This in turn keeps the reject rate low and minimises production time and cost.
