In designing vehicle interiors the main concerns are not confined to appearance, haptics and impression. Ergonomics, comfort, functionality and not least occupant safety are a main focus of Rücker's development work in this area. The company develops complete dashboards including centre consoles as well as all the cladding components for e.g. doors, pillars, ceilings, roof frames and carpets as well as rear and front seats. Our interior specialists liaise closely with their body shell and add-on part development colleagues as well as with our Test & Validation division to arrive at optimal solutions as early as possible. Here again, as in the exterior field, we act as an interface between system suppliers and vehicle manufacturers and ensure harmonisation and communication between them all.
