Rücker AG confirms independence
Entrepreneur Ferchau will increases participation

Entrepreneur Heinz Ferchau based in Wiehl, Germany, has just stated that he has increased his percentage of shares in the globally active engineering and services contractor Rücker AG based in Wiesbaden, Germany, to 25.1%. Currently about 60% of the shares are owned by Wolfgang Rücker, the founder, majority shareholder and chairman of Rücker AG. The group emphasised on Friday 13 May 2011 that strategy and fundamental decisions affecting the group will continue to be decided by the board and supervisory board alone. Wolfgang Rücker stated in his initial reaction that “I am very pleased to see the great interest in our group and our shares. The latter have done extremely well in recent months. I consider this as confirmation of our successful business model and dividend policy. I will retain my share majority and hence continue to guarantee the group’s independence”. The Rücker group is mainly active in rendering technical development and services to the world’s aviation and automobile industries.

EBIT 2010 was over double that for 2009 and increased thanks to a higher volume of business from 3.7 million Euros to 8.1 million Euros. 2010 profits totalled 4.8 million €, triple that for the year before (1.5 million Euros).
